Leonid Kinskey

When casting the classic 1942 movie Casablanca, Humphrey Bogart recommended Kinskey, a Russian, for the role of Sascha the bartender. He was one of the last surviving members of the Casablanca cast. That role led to him playing variations of the character in more than 60 other movies, as well as roles in Perry Mason ("The Case of the Tsarina's Tiara"), The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (as Ferenc Pifnic) and the pilot episode of Hogan's Heroes. He died September 8 in Fountain Hills, Ariz., of a stroke. He was 95.
